By Car:

From Olomouc, or Brno highway direction:
Get of the highway by Litovel when you see the big brown sign advertising the Bouzov Castle. Go around the round-about and under the highway, follow this road slightly uphill, pass a lime factory, down a valley and close to the peak of the next hill you’ll turn off to ‘Cervena Lhota’. Continue on this country road through the village and also through ‘Bila Lhota’ and follow the road as it turns sharp left and through the village of ‘Hrabi’. The road goes uphill a bit more, into a tall needle forest, and right as the first fields appear you’ll turn right by a bus stop shelter ‘U Bori’. Roll down the hill the 2 km to Bouzov Podoli.

From Mohelnice direction:
Turn off to Lostice, pass the village square, continue to you see a bright yellow painted restaurant/pub on the right: Turn up there and stay on the road as it serpentines up hill and through the forest, through Obectov, into the forest again and out on top of Podoli. You’ll have to do a full stop at the intersection with another yellow building opposite, but you should continue straight to find our place: see below.

From Mestecko Trnavka (Scenic road from Brno or Moravska Trebova):
Follow the river through Vranova Lhota and Kosov, leave it as you go up the hill to Bouzov. In central Bouzov you’ll turn left by the newly renovated yellow school, and follow this road 2 km to Bouzov Podoli. By the intersection with another yellow renovated building you’ll turn right to find our place: see below.

In Podoli:
Centrally in the village is an intersection next to a newly renovated 2 storey yellow building. Turn left, pass the small chapel: You may want to park by the pond and simply walk the last piece along the same road as it becomes narrow between the white building and the earth brick barn. As soon as you pass the last garden to the right you’ll see our non-vegan mailbox and a gravel road heading 200 meters in to the right: We are building the house with the curved roof, but live in the other wing, so come on in the courtyard!

By Public transport.

Time Tables: You can find bus and train timetables on The IDOS server. Click on the little British or German flag in the lower right hand corne r and then write departure station in the first field and "Bouzov, Podoli" in the second field...Like what Santa Claus did on this screen shot:

Closest station is in ‘Moravicany’. There’s busses from there to Lostice and on. Follow instructions…You may end up at the bus stop ‘U Bori’, which means you’ll follow the road down to the village you can see 2 km below. Once you are in Podoli you’ll follow the instructions below. Otherwise you may get off in the center of Podoli, about 50 meters after the intersection: Walk back and turn by the yellow building and continue straight as described below, or orientate according to the photo above.

By Bike:
Hmm: Read a map! However, should you come from Olomouc: Bike the backroads along Morava to Litovel. The fastest and flattest from Litovel is the tiny trail opposite the open air public pool. It takes you to a small asphalt road by Nove Zamky. Follow it towards Mladec, but turn before the highway and bike parallel on the old bad asphalt road which turns into a field road. At one time you’ll see a small 1 lane tunnel under the highway: Go through it and up, finding your way to Bila Lhota and onwards as instructions by car…
If you want to bike less you can take the small trains as far as to Mladec from Litovel.

In Podoli:
