Facilitators and facilities:

Usually your hosts will be Max and Radka. Max first learned natural building when he lived for 5 years in USA, but has been into it for the past 15 years in many countries. His education is as a Human Ecologist, and he's currently finishing his master studies in Environmental Management.

He has been trained in EU youth education, but seem to have slept through most of it(!). His passion is permaculture and local sustainability.

Radka is the patient Waldorf pedagogue with background in the environmental and English education of children. Apart from managing a fair amount of administration, the kitchen and soon the forest kindergarten, she's busy taking care of little Johanne, and studying the therapy of singing. She's also good at ensuring you have inspiring healthy meals.

As the centre does not rely on exterior funding we are not yet able to offer any significant accommodation facilities. During spring of 2009 the cottage should be finished, and at big events we pitch a 12 person tee-pee or two. During cold season we somehow make room, but please feel free to utilize some of the nearby accommodation.

You'll find that we have a suitable amount of tools, from table saw to 2 man handsaw, as well as tractor, mixer and a wide selection of power and hand tools. We typically use local materials such as earth, lumber, willow, hemp, straw, wool, rocks etc.

The local area is renowned for it's scenic beauty and we are near caves, castle, swimming lakes and forests. We have mountain bikes for rental and there's a nearby horse rental facility.
